Problem!
Ever wonder why those annoying, itchy, painful red bumps always happen right after a shave? It's a mixture of skin agitations like razor bumps and ingrown hairs. Big trouble for date night, and just plain annoying. With this being a problem that many people face there are solutions on the market. Of course, everything comes with it's price. Hopefully, the following will be able to offer solutions at a few different price levels. Then the victims of razor bumps can decide which method fits their budget!
SOLUTIONS!
Most Affordable Approach: Firstly, after a shave try to pat dry instead of rubbing. The most sensitive of skin can be irked by that terry cloth towel. Also, try to wait at least five minutes after drying and using an astringent like alcohol or witch hazel. This will kill any bacteria and cleanse the pores which have been agitated.
Mid-Price Approach: Follow the above tip for drying, but when it comes to cleansing the pores try Clinique Cleanser. This is also helpful for acne, but might not be the most efficient for razor bumps and ingrown hairs. This formula seems to be more developed for overall skin care.
High-Cost Approach: Again, the patting dry should help for severely sensitive skin. In the author's opinion the best products to use after would be Tend Skin Liquid Skin or Bump Stopper. A small dab on cotton ball and some blotting on the affected areas. Continued use is best, and try not to pick at any scabs.

Other Useful Tips
If dry skin is also accompanying the bumps try moisturizing as well, clean creams like vitamin e or un-fragranced lotions.
Clean fresh razors will assist in keeping down the amounts of your razor bumps.
Try to keep clothing around the affected areas loose fitting.
Make sure you use hot water before shaving to open the pores and soften the hair.
Hydrocortisone cream often helps as well.
